Provincial Nominee Programs
The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) is a pathway to permanent residence for people whose skills, work experience, education, or business background meet the needs of a specific Canadian province or territory. Each participating province or territory sets its own requirements and selects applicants who intend to live and work there. After receiving a nomination, the applicant applies to the federal government for permanent residence and final approval.
Non-Express Entry Provincial Nominations
Applicants may apply directly to a province or territory under an eligible non-Express Entry stream. After receiving a nomination, they must submit a separate permanent residence application to IRCC.
Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program may provide opportunities through streams such as:
- Skilled Worker in Manitoba
- Skilled Worker Overseas
- International Education Stream
- Business Investor Stream
- Entrepreneur and farm investment pathways
Eligibility may depend on employment, education, language ability, work experience, family or community connections, business experience, and a genuine intention to settle in Manitoba.
